In My Opinion...

Background to rantage..

My grandmother died about a little over a year ago (which i was dreadfully upset for a long period of time following her death) so its just been me and my grandpa and since then, my father died ( i never knew him..so no need to feel sympathy) and i am now recieving $560 somethin' a month as long as im in school for his being gone...

So here is where the rantage shows up...

i was cooking my dinner tonight and i casually brought up a question i had been wondering about...When was he expecting me to move out...you know..since i am now 18 and am now legally an adult..i just wondered when or IF he had even thought about me moving out...which he roughly responded, "what? now that you have a little money you think you can move out? well maybe i'll be the one to move out..maybe i'll find a woman."... at which i responded to by laughing... well...im sorry but..IN MY OPINION...marriage is sacred and should just be a once a lifetime thing...none if this..divorce and remarriage crap..seriously? if you cant wait long enough to get to know each other first and see if you REALLY love one another....dont bother at all...but i digress..

I absolutely couldnt see my grandpa BEING with another woman after my grandma died...i thought of it as this...(excuse my innocent and naive mind...) fairy tale life..like this wonderful, bigger than life love that nothing could surpass...ohh..but then comes my grandmother's death and a year later my grandpa is seeing a woman he met a month ago through a friend and has seen 4 times now... *sigh* it really makes me think less of him..it really does..and to be honest..it really upsets me. how could he care for another after my grandmother? (btw...he was married once before my grandmother as well....) he did however answer the questions i had...it was as if i were the parent asking about my child's new boyfriend/girlfriend...drilling them about their new beau..sadly..he likes her and enjoys her company...but if it makes the man happy...(not that he really cares or anything but..) he has my approval...and also he says basically that its just that they like each other...if it comes to be more than that...more serious, then...so be it..but if not then oh well...

Senior project stuff is turned in now and im so excited! well, now im just tired lol but other than that..we had a half day today at school, and my birthday is coming up (monday btw :P) Theres not much to say cause i havent really been able to do anything lately and my boyfriend and i havent been able to hang out because of senior project >.> sunday we are supposed to hang out but...we shall see how THAT turns out. well...seeing as theres not much to say at the moment, im going to leave it at that. i'll try to update soon. ^^

Weekend Madness

So, i am very excited about this weekend. its not much but its more than what has been going on...my good friend kelsey is coming to spend saturday and sunday with me, then go to the mall that sunday. sunday evening i might hang out with a few friends and a really cool guy i met at a friends birthday party. IF i can hang out with them, im sure it'll be fun ^^ monday (since its MLK Day... we have no school..) im going to meet with my mentor for that big project mentioned in my first blog...overall im really excited just to be able to spend time with some friends o.0

I'm Serious..

So i had a talk with my grandpa (whom i live with) and after i get my liscense and if i can manage to get a decent paying job, i could very well be in another country around this time next year. i know it kinda sounds...i dont know, maybe not important..but it is to me o.0

i've always wanted to travel but have only been to several states in the U.S. Its not really satisfying. So, i really hope everything works out and i can go. i've looked at deals for ticket prices already and it seems like a pretty attainable aspiration..My grandpa agreed as long as he doesn't have to pay.

The only problem i have about this is..i've never been outside of the U.S. and i just know im going to spazz out about being in a new place faaaaaaar away from everything i know...and everyone i know..well not everyone. i DO know a few people who live there, but im not sure how they would react should i tell them the news..furthermore im not sure if they'd want to meet with me should i really be able to go.

so thats about it. thanks! i guess i'll keep you posted about any more news i have involving me going out of the country ^^

I'm really excited about the senior project portfolio. We have a portfolio check tomorrow and I am more than ready for it. I can honestly say that I have never been this excited about senior project. So , i noticed the other day...(RANT)

Alright, although i hate to start off ranting about things i've notice some people do but annoy the piss out of me, I feel this has to be said before i forget.

People who are in such a hurry on the road need to SLOW THE %$#@ DOWN! Alright! As if we didnt understand your swirving behind us and scaring the living BEJESUS out of us, you insist on speeding around us and further making an ass out of yourself by getting stopped by the person in front of you (which i might add is a very nice person for obeying the laws of the road and stopping at a red light) and waving like a mad person at them BECAUSE they stopped. Now, if you are in THAT big of a hurry, please for all our sakes, just...leave early. Heaven forbid we be the people in front of a loony that decided he (or she) was going to get their jollies first and THEN go driving like crazy down a 45 mph road and going 75...80...even 90...O.0 WHOA buddy...just slow down...It's your own fault. You know...i would very much like to continue living in this hell hole if you don't mind. ^_^ thanks!

New-To-Me

Alright, so this is the first of hopefully many blogs and such that i intend to post. Although this is my first blog here on blogspot, it is not my first blog ever. I can honestly say im not a great blogger, i procrastinate, im lazy, and i get distracted easily, so at times it can be quite hard for me to even finish a blog let alone start one and stay on track. There are a multitude of subjects i wish to blog about but now is not the time. Perhaps in a few days i can sit down and type away at the little keys and type up my thoughts when im able to just relax and THINK. Most days i'm really tired when i get home from school. Seeing as i am a senior in high school, especially in Columbia County, seniors have a HUGE project that we all must start and finish..and innevitably pass. It takes up a huge portion of our senior year..and our lives during this time is mostly occupied by this project. There is so much that has to be done and depending on what you choose to do for your project, you have more or less than others. Furthermore, we have to keep deadlines, do and re-do research papers, and many other things that are just way too stressful. I must admit, i have not been doing my best during the first half of the year working on the project, but i fully intend to work harder this half. That reminds me, my senior project is to learn to sew and make a renaissance dress. I really like learning more and more about the renaissance period and i love being creative, so i thought this would be a great decission. But i must leave it at that for now, i have to be off to shop for supplies for this project now. So, keep reading, because there will surely be more in the works soon.
